Judges Report - Level 2

"On the second day of the draught tests weather was fine. We had three entries, two passes and one withdrawn.

Verbal and hand commands now being used more and fewer tight leads. The general standard of the passes is now higher as the dogs training is starting to show, plus the fact handlers are taking notice of what judges say and trying to put this into practice. The dogs and handlers performed well on a testing haul course, which included a variety of obstacles.

A big thank you to the stewards who showed good skills. These passes were well earned. Thank you to the SNC for asking us to judge and to the 'Friends of Jersey Big Dog Club' for their friendship and hospitality."
