LATEST DRAUGHT TEST REGS The latest revisions to the Draught Test regulations, effective from October 2019 have been agreed by all three Newfoundland Clubs. They can be downloaded here. JOINT HEALTH DATABASE An important new initiative promoting health in Newfoundlands in the form of a shared database of health check results is now online. We are encouraging Newfoundland breeders and owners to submit their dog's results - FOR FREE. WELFARE Please contact SNC Welfare if you can offer a new "forever" home to a newfie. Foster homes for the assessment of dogs in the care of SNC Welfare are urgently needed. PUPPY AVAILABILITY Members are reminded to let our Puppy Liaison Officer know about new litters. Section A tests were held as part of the SNC's Fun Day at Grangewaters with entries accepted on the day to give those new to water work a chance to have a go at the first level of tests.

Judges Reports - Section A

"I would like to thank all at Grangewaters for organising such a fab Fun Day, a pity the weather the preceding week had been so inclement and the weather forecast for the day not promising, which seemed to have deterred some from attending. In the end the weather was kind to us and those that did make it to the venue all seemed to enjoy themselves, especially those new to water work � I hope those who passed Section A today for the first time, will continue swimming their dogs, who obviously loved being in the water, and for those who didn�t quite make it, keep at it, he's nearly there!

Thanks to my co-judge, Chris and to all the wonderful, hardworking stewards who made the day a success."
