Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at such a well-run show and to my steward, Richard Forsythe, for working so effortlessly to keep the ring running smoothly. I would also like to thank the exhibitors for your entries and accepting my placings so gracefully. I really enjoyed this judging appointment, with some lovely examples of the breed present.

I would like to give a few general observations of the breed within this entry…Whilst work still needs to be done on front construction (the same in my own breed); the front movement was actually significantly cleaner coming towards than the last time I judged them, so well done to the clever breeders that are working hard to improve on this - I thought this was very positive.

On the day, I noticed a huge variety in head type and quality; I would not consider myself a "head judge", however on the day I was harder on incorrect and particularly overdone heads, as there were so many that lacked that typical and melting Newfoundland head and expression. Large, low-set ears and excessive lip were common faults found. I did however, have many with nice neat ears, lovely dark eyes and some strong, yet clean and correct heads.

1st Moakes' MILEOAK HUXLEY
Best Baby Puppy Dog

Nearly 6 months old, sound and confident male puppy, who had such nice and easy free movement in profile and clean coming and going. Attractive head developing nicely and a lovely dark eye and kind expression. Clean head planes, nice breadth to muzzle and skull. Pincer Bite. Good length of neck, leading into acceptable forehand. Nice bone for size, just a little down on his front pasterns at present. Good depth of chest and breadth of back. In great condition and correct coat and markings. Slightly long in the body at present and topline needs to firm up, but only a baby. Lovely rounded rump, balanced rear angulation and nice and firm in the hock. Loved his exuberant character and extension on the move.

7 Year Old Male in immaculate condition and presented to perfection. Masculine head, yet clean and correct, with a lovely gentle expression. Broad, square muzzle, nice dark eyes and broad skull. Strong neck of good length, leading into acceptable shoulder placement. Strong round bone. Straight front legs, firm pasterns and compact feet. Good depth of chest, broad in the back. Well-ribbed and level topline, leading into a lovely rounded rump and correct tail-set. Well angulated rear and firm in hock. So balanced in construction and outline. I have judged this dog twice before and he is now in his absolute prime. So sound on the move with an easy and active stride. Clean from all angles. Substantial yet active and clean in both head and expression, but also his super flowing outline. Hope he gains his title. Delighted to award him BEST VETERAN IN SHOW.

1st Leech's MILEOAK HUBBLE BUBBLE

Very smart and cobby 6 month old puppy, full of quality and dripping in breed-type. Very outgoing and confident character. Super shape and outline, very together for his age. Clean and attractive head developing nicely with a broad muzzle and nice dark almond shaped eye. Lovely expression. Ok for neck and shoulder but just needs to drop into his front as a little steep at present, should settle as he matures. Lovely strong round bone and feet. Nice and broad in his back and firm in the loin. Well bodied and in good body condition. Good rear angulation and nice and firm in the hock. Easy and active on the move, clean in profile and going away. Very nice young prospect and will watch his future with interest; I think he is going to make a very smart adult.

This is one very special puppy dog. Full of quality and combines breed-type with correct construction and soundness. Super head and expression, with a nice dark eye. Strong and masculine, yet also so clean, without excessive lip. Strong muzzle and small neat ears, set correctly. So correct for proportions and outline - true art. Good length of neck, leading into a well-placed shoulder and good return of upper-arm. One of the few dogs today with a prominent prosternum. Lovely strong round bone and compact feet. Good depth of chest, broad in back and firm in the body. Well-ribbed and firm in loin, leading to a well rounded rump and correct tail set. He had the correct width between his hocks and rear pasterns on the move - with many close behind, he was one of the outliers - yet so correct here. Very sound and free on the move with an active stride. Was very pleased to award him RESERVE BEST MALE to his Kennel mate and then he went on to become RESERVE BEST IN SHOW and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW. Congratulations.

2nd Aplin's GREEN PEARL UNDER THE STARS AVEC ANGELSCOVE (IMP FRA)

Lovely flowing overall outline to this 11 month old male. Presented immaculately. Handler was worried about his weight and coat, but actually this did not bother me as condition and coat can come and go. Nice broad muzzle and head shape developing correctly. Would prefer a darker eye, less lip and ears could be neater and higher set. Good length of neck and correctly balanced overall shape. Correct proportions and nice and firm in back. Lovely rounded rump and good rear angulation. Firm hocks. Nice easy and active stride in profile; sound here, with extension on the move. Would prefer him a little cleaner coming towards, but nice and firm in the rear, with drive.

1st Leech and Moir's ELGRANDBEAR RAZZ MA TAZ

Very balanced and sound young male with a super shape and outline. Liked him a lot. My notes read "nice male" and "sound" in capital letters. Lovely dark eye, but I would prefer smaller and higher set ears. Nice and broad in muzzle. Good length of neck, leading into acceptable front construction. Another of the few with correct fore chest and prominent prosternum. Lovely round bone and compact feet. Good depth to his chest, nice and broad in back. Compact in body, firm in loin and nicely rounded rump. Good rear angulation, balanced with his front. So sound on the move. Clean coming and going, with great extension in profile. Light on his feet and active, yet still a substantial male. A very exciting young male. Will watch his future with interest.

2nd Hosie's KING OF HELLULAND JUNGLE BOOK AT SHADOWRISE (IMP SVK)

Strong and substantial male - all masculine, yet with quality. Nice and broad in muzzle and skull. Kind eye, but ears could be a little smaller. Enough reach of neck leading into moderate front angulation. Lovely round bone and compact feet. Good depth of chest and lovely breadth of back and body. Would prefer him a little more compact and firmer in his topline. Nicely rounded rump and balanced angulation fore and aft. Moved with a nice easy, free and active stride for such a strong male - very light on his feet. Perhaps a little fitness and firming up could be of advantage as he has a lot to like.

3rd Bull's OUKAYA FOREVER URSA MINOR (IMP FRA)
Best White & Black DogBest White & Black in Show

Loved this dog's head and expression. Real quality here. So clean and attractive, without being coarse or overdone. Nice dark eye, neat ears and clean lips. He has lovely proportions and compact in body. Moderate angulation front and back and I would prefer more here, but he was balanced. Hopefully as he matures his angulation will improve as he drops into his body. Lovely round bone and compact feet. Broad in back, firm in loin. Moved fairly clean, despite a little knitting coming towards, but balanced and sound in profile and moved true going away. Very active and easy movement, completely co-ordinated. Presented in immaculate condition. Nice prospect, just needs some time.

Attractive male and overall is well balanced. Strong head with nice and square muzzle, would prefer a little less lip. Correct ear set. Good reach of neck leading into acceptable shoulder placement. Would prefer a little more upper-arm. Lovely round bone and nice feet. Well-bodied and well-ribbed. Nicely rounded rump. Moved with a free and easy stride and held his shape on the move. Would prefer stronger rear movement and tail carriage was a little high. However, he moved well in profile, with good extension and presented in immaculate condition.

3rd Bodman's TWILLIN GATE VANCOUVER ACARA (IMP BEL)

Very strong and masculine male. Perhaps a little overdone for me. Strong head with broad skull and broad muzzle, a little too much lip and dewlap. Excelled for size and substance. Lovely strong round bone and good feet. Strong, firm neck, leading into acceptable front construction. Good breadth of back and body. Moved light on his feet for such a strong male, could be a little cleaner coming towards but firm in rear movement and active on the move. Nicely rounded rump and correct tail set. Presented in super condition and handled sympathetically.

1st Chapman's NANDOBEARS YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE (IMP DEU)

Very handsome and attractive male, with a super overall outline and shape. Very balanced. Strong, masculine head with broad strong muzzle and nice dark eye. A little too much wrinkle on the muzzle and too much lip for me. Ears could be smaller and set a little higher. Good reach of neck, flowing into his well-placed shoulder and good overall front assembly. Lovely round bone and feet. Nice and broad in back. Well-ribbed, nice and firm in topline and lovely rounded rump. Rear angulation in balance with his correct forehand. Moved well with extension in profile, nice easy and active stride. Clean enough coming towards and with drive from his firm hocks. Overall a very nice young male, would perhaps like a touch more leg to balance his length of body, but loved the flowing outline and angulation. Presented in immaculate condition and handled to advantage. Liked a lot about him.

2nd Steels' NURBURGNEWF IRONMAN
Best Brown DogBest Brown in Show

Strong, masculine brown with good size and substance. Lovely overall outline. Loved his body and shape. Good length of leg and lovely round bone and nice feet. Would prefer a slightly shorter and more square muzzle and less lip, ears could be neater. Eye colour was acceptable for a brown. For me this dog's strength was in his body and shape. Good reach of neck, well-placed shoulder and good overall front assembly. Nice and firm in topline. Well-ribbed and firm in loin. Nicely rounded rump. Balanced angulation fore and aft. Moved with an active and easy gait for such a strong male. Would prefer stronger rear movement, but moved well in profile with a nice balanced stride. Lovely overall proportions and handled well.

3rd Carter's ZENTAUR THE FIZZ FACTOR, ShCEx

Lovely head planes, with a quality and clean head, with a kind expression to this male. Would prefer a darker eye, but nice neat ears. Well balanced male with moderate angulation front and back. Nice and compact in body with a firm loin and well-ribbed. Bone in balance with his size and lovely feet. Nicely rounded rump. Needs some time to drop into himself here. Nicely proportioned and overall outline. Would prefer him cleaner coming towards, but firm in rear movement and with a nice balanced stride in profile.

A very well balanced, noble and majestic young male. He had everything that I was looking for … so correct, well-proportioned and so nice to go over such a well-constructed, breed-typical dog. This dog is dripping in quality from the tip of his nose, to the end of his tail. Strong and masculine head, with a clean and kind expression - yet no hint of coarseness. Lovely dark eyes, nice short, square and clean muzzle without excessive lip. Broad in skull with prominent occiput and nice, neat ears, set correctly. Good reach of neck, leading into his well-placed shoulder and correct return of upper-arm, of good length. One of the few on the day that had a super fore-chest. Lovely strong round bone, straight front legs and lovely feet. Good depth and breadth of chest. Nice and firm in the back, well-ribbed and strong in the loin. Well-angulated rear, completely in balance with his very correct forehand. Nice and firm in hock. One of the soundest movers of the day; he was clean coming towards, strong and true in rear movement, with an easy, active and balanced stride in profile. He was presented in pristine condition, well-muscled and handled to advantage. Had no hesitation in awarding him BEST MALE and he went on, quite rightly, to be my BEST IN SHOW winner. Congratulations to his very clever breeder.

2nd Owles and Bristow's ZENTAUR FIZZICAL THERAPY

Nice young male, who looked a picture on the stack; such a super shapely outline, with the flow and angulation that I like. Nice and strong, square and clean muzzle. Nice dark eyes and attractive expression, would just prefer neater ears. Good reach of neck. Front construction acceptable, shoulder placement ok and good return of upper arm. Nice and cobby in body, with a lovely rounded rump. Good depth and breadth of chest. Nice and broad in back, firm in loin. Good rear angulation and well-let down hocks. Was a little disappointed with him on the move today, as expected him to be sounder, given how good he was to go over. Could have been cleaner coming and going away. Moved ok in profile. Thought perhaps this could have been an “off day" for him as thought he was very nice standing and on hands-on exam. Presented immaculately and handled sympathetically.

Nicely proportioned male, with good size and substance. Confident and calm in character. Loved his overall size and correct proportions. Old fashioned head and expression, which was gentle and clean. Would prefer a slightly shorter muzzle, neater ears and less dewlap. Strong neck, leading into acceptable front construction. Lovely strong round bone and good feet. Good depth of chest, but would prefer more breadth of back and spring of rib. Ribs extend well back though, compact and firm in the loin. Well rounded rump and good rear angulation. He moved ok coming and going with a nice and easy profile movement with a balanced stride. Presented in lovely condition and handled calmly.

10 year old male in super condition and so sound still for his age and substance. Have admired this male from ringside before and he did not disappoint today. Love his overall shape and construction. Strong head, but a little overdone for me and I would prefer a little less lip and neater ears. Strong and substantial in body, yet so active and co-ordinated on the move. Love his proportions. Nice and compact in body. Firm in loin and back. Good reach of neck, leading into correct front construction. Super bone and straight front legs, good feet. Good depth of chest and breadth of back. Balanced rear angulation and firm in hock. Ok, could have been a little cleaner towards, but for his age - wow what super movement and so active and agile. His breeder and owner should be proud of themselves. Very impressive male. Loved him, a real credit to the breed.

2nd Payne's NEWETTA'S LET'S PARTY AT SQUESTPAWS

Strong and substantial male, with a nice overall flowing outline. Exuberant and outgoing character. Nice dark eye, good breadth of skull, but would prefer a squarer muzzle and neater ears. Good length of neck, leading into acceptable shoulder placement, but would prefer more fore-chest. Good depth of chest and nice and broad in back. Lovely colouring and coat in immaculate condition. Would prefer him a little more compact in loin, but has a lovely rounded rump and good rear angulation. Correct tailset and carriage. Moved with good extension in profile and ok coming towards, but would prefer stronger rear movement. Maybe some fitness could help firm up his hocks. Presented well and handled sympathetically.

Beautiful Puppy Bitch. Loved her overall quality and shape. Good size for her age. The most exquisite head and expression. Lovely dark eyes, strong yet feminine head with a nice broad muzzle and skull. Good length of neck leading into well placed shoulder, would prefer a touch more upper arm. Lovely bone and compact feet. Firm in body and well-ribbed. Firm in the loin and nicely rounded rump, leading into balanced rear angulation and firm in hock. A little overawed today and moved better once she settled - with some confidence, she should move much more freely given her correct construction. Still moved sound enough and clean coming and going for a baby. Loved her. Preferred her overall quality and breed typical features, size for age, shorter back and overall shape and outline to the male; hence she went on to be BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW. Has bags of potential and will watch her future with interest.

Shapely Brown Bitch with nice easy and free movement. Loved her overall outline. Good head planes, but just starting to age in expression. Nice square muzzle and good breadth of skull. Good length of neck, leading into well-placed shoulder; would prefer just a little more upper-arm. Lovely round bone and nice round feet. Good breadth of back and depth of chest. Topline varied on the stack, but held well on the move. Lovely rounded rump and good rear angulation. Overall very balanced and scored in this class for her soundness and easy clean movement. Handled sympathetically and she was such a star, kept showing throughout the whole day at her fine age.

2nd Franklin's SHINGLEBAY HIGH HOPES, ShCM

Strong and shapely bitch with the most beautiful head and expression. Loved her strength, substance and overall outline. Good reach of neck, leading into well placed shoulder and upper-arm. Super bone and round feet. Good depth of chest and breadth of back, although a touch heavy on the day. What a shame that she was intermittently slightly unsound in the rear, as otherwise I really liked a lot about her. Some weight loss might be of benefit here as she is a very lovely example of the breed. Strength without coarseness and very shapely.

1st Stanton and Latham's MILEOAK HOCUS POCUS

Very nice young puppy bitch developing along the right lines. Preferred her bone and substance to second place. Lovely character. Nice dark eyes, although a touch round at this stage. Broad muzzle and skull. Enough reach of neck, leading into acceptable front construction. Lovely feet. Good depth of chest and breadth of back for her age. A touch long in the loin at present, lovely rounded rump and balanced rear angulation. Moved ok in profile, lovely rear movement, could just be a bit cleaner coming towards and will hopefully tighten up as she matures and develops. Good length of leg for her age, presented immaculately and handled sympathetically to get the best out of her.

2nd Watson's NEWFANGLED YES YOU DID

I did prefer the eye shape and profile movement of this puppy to number 1, but she did not have the bone density nor substance of body that 1 had. She did give her handler quite a difficult time, but she is a puppy and that is to be expected at this age; they are not to be robots. Very pretty head and expression, lovely neat ears. Enough reach of neck and front angulation acceptable, again could be cleaner coming towards and needs to develop in fore chest as she matures. Rear angulation in balance with front angulation - quite moderate at the moment. Nice and compact in loin and enough depth of chest. Very outgoing and exuberant young puppy bitch.

Very shapely and strong 11 month old Puppy bitch with bags of quality. Loved her overall outline, with good length of neck, nice and compact and with a well-angulated rear. Lovely dark eye, broad and strong muzzle and skull, without coarseness and the neatest of ears. Well-placed shoulder, good overall forehand. Lovely bone and feet. Broad in back, good depth of chest and well-ribbed. Nice and compact in loin and lovely rounded rump. Moved soundly overall, just at points I would have liked a little more free movement and more drive from the rear; had just a tendency to cycle at points and not extending here. With her angulation, I think this will improve as she matures and muscles up. Handled to advantage and presented in pristine condition. Quite an exciting young prospect and an easy decision for BEST PUPPY BITCH.

Two very different bitches in this class, with different things to offer. Cobby and lovely overall outline to this young bitch. Beautiful head and expression with nice neat ears and lovely dark eyes. Square muzzle and good breadth to skull. Enough reach of neck, leading into acceptable shoulder placement and front construction; would like a little more forechest. Well-boned. Good depth of chest; nice and broad in back. Firm in loin and lovely rounded rump. Would prefer her a little cleaner coming towards, but nice and clean/true in rear movement and nice and free in profile with good extension. Presented in good coat and condition and handled sympathetically.

2nd Milburn and Sheridan's TALK OF THE TOWN DU CLOS DES ABYSSES DE PROVENCE (IMP FRA)

Substantial bitch, loved her size and substance. Lovely angulation and overall outline. Strong and broad muzzle, clean. Would prefer a smaller ear. Good length of neck. Needs time to drop in body for her front construction and angulation to settle down. Lovely bone and feet. Level topline, but a touch longer caste. Lovely rounded rump and good rear angulation. Super extension in profile movement and moved well once settled. Very outgoing and true Newfoundland character. Could be very nice as she fills out and drops into her body as she matures. Presented in pristine condition and handled competitively.

Stylish young bitch with a very attractive and quality head and expression. Lovely neat ears and kind eye. Good breadth of muzzle. Very feminine. Good reach of neck and acceptable shoulder placement and front construction. Enough bone for size. Needs time to broaden in back and ribs to "spring". Looked a touch long and perhaps some of this is the maturity in body that will come with time. Moved with an easy and active stride in profile, a touch close coming and going. Handled sympathetically and coat in immaculate condition. Think she just needs some time to mature in body, broaden through and muscle up. My notes read, nice overall, just needs time.

2nd Watson's BARACHOIS CHIM CHIM CHEREE

Quite a typey bitch and although I loved her overall strength, she would perhaps benefit from some weight loss to be more competitive. Strong head, broad muzzle and breadth of muzzle, perhaps could be a little more feminine in expression. Enough reach of neck, leading into acceptable shoulder placement. Lovely round bone and feet. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. Topline could be better, but likely a result of body condition. Lovely rounded rump, rear angulation in balance with forehand. Moved with an easy stride in profile and with drive from the rear.

I liked a lot about this bitch - quite honest. Well-balanced overall and lovely shape and outline. Nice square muzzle and skull, would prefer a slightly darker eye and slightly smaller ears. Good reach of neck, leading into well placed shoulder. Lovely bone and feet. Good depth of chest and breadth of back. Nice and compact in loin, lovely rounded rump and balanced rear angulation. Could extend a little more in profile movement, sound going away and ok towards. Maybe some fitness and more competitive handling could really get the best out of this bitch to help her really extend, as I thought she was a nice overall prospect that could do well.

2nd Baxter and Morris' STARCOVE SISTER ACT AT DAVISTELL

Strong and substantial bitch, perhaps a little too masculine for me, but should make a good brood bitch put to the right male. Strong head, broad muzzle and skull, but would prefer neater ears and less lip. Lovely reach of neck and good front construction. Lovely strong round bone and feet. Good depth of chest and breadth of back. A little long in the loin and topline affected by this. Nicely rounded rump. Good rear angulation. Moved well in profile and so light on her feet, easy and active on the move for her size.

3rd Burton's CEEDERNEWF IN THE FOREST VODAHOND

Very pretty bitch with a lovely head and expression. Nice neat ears. Balanced overall in angulation, although a little moderate. Would prefer more bone and substance. Good reach of neck, leading into acceptable shoulder placement. Would prefer more upper-arm. Good feet. Enough depth of chest and nice and compact in loin. Moved a little narrow through and needs some time to mature and develop.

Really lovely Class. Just my cup of tea. This bitch is dripping in quality and so correct for breed-type. Just beautiful. Loved her overall shape and outline and so sound on the move - she did not stop all day and the more she moved, the more I loved her. Beautiful head and expression with a nice square muzzle, clean and without excessive lip. Lovely neat ears and dark eye. Good reach of neck, leading into well-placed shoulder and correct overall forehand. Lovely bone and feet and stands so true. Good depth of chest and breadth of back. Handler just needs to watch her topline at times on the stack, which is what in the end went against her for RBIS against the young male. Lovely flowing outline and rounded rump. Well-angulated rear and so firm in the hock. I loved this bitch on the stack for her strong, yet feminine breed type and outline, but actually where she excels is on the move. She moved so clean coming and going, with extension in profile. In the challenge, I had shortlisted to three lovely bitches and it was her movement that in the end pipped her to the top, to be awarded BEST BITCH. Handled sympathetically and in immaculate condition. Loved her, I will watch her future with interest, congratulations.

2nd Bull's SANDBEARS WORK OF ART AT RAVENSHORE

Another well-balanced and quality bitch of lovely breed type and overall shape. The most beautiful head and expression. Square, but clean muzzle an lovely dark eye. Touch large in ear. Good reach of neck leading into well placed shoulder and upper arm. Lovely round bone and feet. Good depth of chest and back. Nicely rounded rump and good rear angulation, in balance with forehand. Nice and firm in hock. This bitch had lovely movement in profile, but could have been just a touch cleaner coming and going. Loved her overall type and extension in profile. Presented in immaculate coat and condition and handled to advantage.

Very well-made bitch and good to go over on hands-on. Head was a little strong and masculine for me. Nice and broad muzzle, lovely dark eyes, but would prefer slightly neater ears. Good reach of neck, leading into well-placed shoulder and good overall front construction. Very well-boned, good feet. Lovely body, with good depth of chest and breadth of back. Lovely rounded rump and balanced rear angulation. Nice and firm in hock. Moved clean coming and going and extended well in profile, with an easy and active stride. Oozing in quality and breed-type. Beautiful. My notes read "What a Forechest", and so good to feel another of the few, with this very much needed feature for the breed. I loved her overall shape and outline. The most outgoing character and very correct head and expression. Lovely broad muzzle, yet clean. Correct head planes and nice dark eye. Good length of neck, leading into the correct forehand. Lovely bone and feet. Good depth of chest and breadth of back. Excellent proportions. Lovely rounded rump, good rear angulation and nice and firm in hock. Very sound bitch overall, clean coming and going. Extension in profile seemed to vary from extending fully, to holding back a little and this cost her in the final challenge on the day. Loved her. The most beautiful shape and outline. Happy to award her RESERVE BEST BITCH and I was not surprised to find out who her mother is.

2nd Bull's KING OF HELLULAND BLUE ORGANZA

Nice type of a bitch. Lovely overall outline and quality. Attractive head and expression with nice square muzzle and kind dark eye. Broad skull. Would prefer slightly smaller ear and a touch less lip. Strong neck, leading into well-placed shoulder placement. Would prefer a little more fore chest and upper-arm. Lovely bone and balanced with size. Good feet. Good depth of chest and nice and broad in back. Well-ribbed. Nicely rounded rump, good rear angulation and nice and firm in hock. So sound on the move. Nice and clean and good in profile. Overall a very nice bitch.

3rd Burton's SPARKYBEARS A STAR IS BORN AT VODAHOND

Another nice bitch in this class … different type to the above bitches, yet was very nice to go over on hands-on exam. Enough breadth to muzzle, dark eyes, but would prefer neater ears. Enough reach of neck and acceptable front construction. Nice bone for size. Good feet. Nice and broad in back. Firm in the loin and nicely rounded rump. Enough rear angulation, in balance with the front. Sound enough and clean on the move. Perhaps just a little moderate all round and lacked the flowing outline of the other bitches above her. But liked a lot about her and she is still all in balance.

Beautiful bitch, oozing in breed type and full of quality. Have admired her from the ringside before. Lovely head and expression, very correct and it seems that this kennel is stamping the same quality, correct and clean head, with neat ears on their dogs. She has a lovely broad muzzle, dark eye and strong head, yet completely feminine. Good length of neck, leading into well-placed shoulder and correct overall forehand. Lovely round bone and compact feet. Good depth of chest and breadth of back. Would just like her to be a touch shorter in her body and loin. Nicely rounded rump and good rear angulation. So sound on the move and she floated around the ring, really driving from the rear. Shortlisted to the Top 3 bitches and completed a lovely trio. This is a very lovely bitch. Handled competitively and although she was a little out of coat, still was in immaculate condition. Shall follow her future with interest.

Winner of Special Open Brown Bitch
1st Pallett's YULLA FOR SHEENMARIE VON BAYWATCH (IMP DEU), JW

This bitch really excels on the move - loved her easy and active profile movement; super extension in profile. Nice overall outline, but found her a little longer cast and needs time now to develop into her body. Broad muzzle and enough fill under eyes, but ears quite large. Good reach of neck leading into correct overall forehand. Lovely bone and feet. Good depth of chest. Nicely rounded rump and nice firm hocks. Won this class on her movement - very sound overall and clean coming and going.

2nd Steels' NURBURGNEWF BEAMER

Cobby bitch and preferred her overall outline on the stack to number 1. Lovely type, with bone and substance. Nice square muzzle, but a little too much lip and loose flews. Broad skull and prominent occiput. Large and low ear-set. Good reach of neck leading into acceptable front construction, in balance with her rear. Topline could be firmer. Nicely rounded rump and tail set. Moved with an easy stride, but not the extension of number 1. Moved clean enough coming and going. Handled sympathetically.
