This year we hosted two water tests on behalf of the Southern Newfoundland Club, Saturday's test was run by the Jersey Big Dog Club and Sunday's by the Friends of Jersey Big Dog Club. I drew the 'short straw' and managed both days!
We tested a total of 46 teams over the two tests, covering all levels. This year we were lucky with the weather as it stayed dry over both days, however we did have high winds to contend with, which made keeping the boats on the buoys difficult.
We started each day with Section E, went on to D, C, A finishing with B with some very good team work and passes. It was good to see the young dogs doing so well at their first test experience.
The JBDC is only a small club, so we really appreciate all the support we are given by those coming over to enter the tests. Judges, stewards and general help make the event a success. Thanks to Chris Roberts and Sara Davies coming over specifically to judge. Thank you Anita and Trina for arranging the judges lunches, hot drinks etc..

A generally sunny day, but a strong wind made conditions difficult for the dogs.
We had two entries, one pass and one did not quite make it. Both dogs coped with the conditions very well.

We had three entries on a really nice windy morning, unfortunately none of the entrants were 'switched on' dogs decided it was just too early in the morning - hence no passes.
As always the dogs coped with the conditions - what more could we want on a Sunday morning than to be at the lake with our dogs.
