Draught Tests
- Beginners to Level 4

We had nine dogs entered this afternoon at Grangewaters, seven of the teams gained nice passes, two dogs did not complete the haul, due to physical issues. There was some very nice work seen with all dogs completing good recall and one minute wait.

Thank you to all our entrants and our call steward, also a thanks to the test manager and the members of SEWN for their hospitality.

Caroline and I had an enjoyable afternoon judging five dogs. All passed the control section with varying standards, but the group down stay unfortunately had two of the dogs breaking and causing a disturbance.

Two dogs went through to the haul, sadly one broke the down stay to find mum, but the other dog produced a grand pass - some things to work on before going up to the next level.

We had five entries today, of which three passed and two failed. The two fails only need a little more practice before they will be there passing Level 4.

The passes showed great control and team work. The haul included some very testing exercises, all were completed without any problem. Nice team work and a joy to judge.

First, thank you to SNC for inviting us to judge Level 3. We had nine dogs entered, three failed and two dogs withdrew from the Manoeuvring & Haul sections.

So four dogs out on the haul, which was very testing for the teams, all of which did so well.
